Liberica coffee in Singapore

We ship single-origin Malaysian Liberica coffee to Singapore for RM20, free on orders of RM150 and above, typically three to five days from our roastery in Kuala Lumpur, often sooner. Roasted to order, posted within two working days of roasting.

Liberica is the third coffee species, after arabica and robusta, and under one per cent of world supply. It is this region's own coffee. Malaysia never stopped growing it, and Singapore has always drunk it, mostly without knowing, in kopi. The three species, compared. The case for Liberica, in long form.

The two Libericas we roast

Sarawak Liberica Ragi. A rare polyhybrid from Long Banga, anaerobic honey processed. Manuka honey, florality, a wide low note arabica cannot reach.

Taiping Liberica. Washed, from Batu Kurau in Perak. Chocolate, dried fruit, a whisper of clove.

Or both at once. The Malaysian Duo, one bag from each estate, brewed side by side.

Shipping to Singapore

RM20, shown at checkout. Free on orders of RM150 and above; two Malaysian Duos clear it. The distance is short and the coffee arrives young. Roasted coffee is at its best from about three days to four weeks after roasting; a Singapore delivery lands right at the start of that window, with the roast date printed on the bag.

The short answers

Can I buy Liberica coffee in Singapore?
Yes. We ship both of our single-origin Malaysian Libericas to Singapore, whole bean, roasted to order in Kuala Lumpur.

How long does delivery take?
Typically three to five days after the coffee is roasted and posted, often sooner across the causeway. We post within two working days of roasting.

Is this the same coffee as kopi?
Same species, different treatment. The Liberica in traditional kopi is usually roasted dark with margarine and sugar. Ours is single-estate, roasted clean, so you taste the species itself.
